Baird PXL-2 HD Non-Penetrating Roof Mount (NPRM)

The Baird PXL-2 HD NPRM is a non-penetrating roof mount used for flat roof type installations for satellite antenna's up to 12.5’ in diameter including 3.8M Tx/Rx antenna's. The "XL" means big and the “HD” stands for heavy duty. The PXL-2 HD rules the VSAT heavy weight division and is a staff favorite on our team. This mount is very robust and provides the perfect base and mating pedestal for the GD Satcom 1383 and 1385 Tx/Rx series antenna systems. Each mount can be configured with different mast pipe O.D. diameters and mast heights to accommodate a wide range of satellite antennas and also includes integrated ballast trays that support standard concrete block sizes when used for ballast. The PXL-2 HD is typically ordered with multiple ballast trays that can be further expanded (triple tray shown in pic above) to accommodate additional ballast weight while increasing the mount footprint to support higher wind loading requirements.

Design Note: Due to the size and weight of this mount when combined with the antenna, we strongly recommend consulting with a structural engineer to determine proper roof loading prior to installation

Installation note: Additional ballast weight for the mount and target antenna are required for proper system installation. Ballast weight recommendations are based on antenna size, type, wind loading and building roof height of installation location. Ballast calculations are available on request.

Shipping note: The PXL-2 HD is a large and very heavy mount that ships on a big pallet. A truck liftgate with forklift or pallet jacket is recommended for truck delivery and unloading. We recommend drop shipping this mount directly to the installation site whenever possible.
