The CCS MERC Lite is a small, but powerful mobile power and communication trailer that is designed to provide a fully operational voice, data, and radio network within 15 minutes of deployment. This tactical trailer weighs less than 3,500 pounds and is compact enough to be towed by most standard vehicles, airlifted, or loaded in a transport plane for delivery. The MERC Lite can be deployed in areas where larger command center trailers and vehicles cannot travel. The MERC Lite is also more suitable for densely populated urban areas with narrow streets and limited parking.

The MERC Lite is powered by a Cummins Onan 12,000-watt Quiet Diesel generator with a 91-gallon fuel tank. A VSAT auto-acquire satellite system allows it to offer network access anywhere in the world providing not only internet service and data access but also Hosted VoIP and SIP service for two-way voice service. A 30-foot pneumatic mast equipped with removable antenna arms provides a platform to mount antennas for land mobile radios and repeaters, cellular extender antennas, wireless LAN/WAN antennas, weather station equipment, television antennas, HAM radio antennas, and video surveillance equipment. A 360-Track GPS system provides remote monitoring of the MERC Lite for location tracking purposes and attempted theft alerts. 

An optional custom manufactured 10’x10’x8’ inflatable shelter can be included and packed into the trailer that is designed to attach to the rear of the trailer allowing complete climate-controlled access to all three equipment racks and a comfortable work space for up to 6 workers.  The shelter will be equipped with interior LED lighting for nighttime operation, two 14,000 BTU ac/10,000 BTU heat pump units that vent out the driver and curb side of the shelter, two work tables, 4 folding chairs, and an electrical and data wire package to provide connectivity to each work table.  Additional comms option can include a Motorola VHF and UHF radio package that includes a UHF rack mounted radio, a VHF rack mounted radio, a VHF rack mounted radio repeater, six Motorola VHF portable radios with a 6-bay rack mounted charging station, and the power and antenna package to support all the radio equipment.

-Single axle trailer with an aluminum boxed frame powder coated white and mounted on a steel beam frame that has 2 levels of rust prevention. 

-The MERC Lite is powered by a Cummins Onan QD commercial 7,500-watt diesel generator with an 88-gallon fuel tank.

Three trailer compartments:

-Generator compartment that also houses a 12-volt fuse box, and two Interstate 12-volt batteries

-Middle storage compartment that provides storage space for electronics, antennas, portable radios, etc. and includes a wall mounted control panel for the generator and all lights. The 88-gallon fuel tank is installed under the floor in this compartment.

-Rear equipment cabinet that is climate controlled and houses three 21U equipment racks mounted on vibration isolators for all on board electronics and a 7,000 BTU ac unit
