HE1000 HD News Audio and Video Encoder
Tiernan’s HE1000 HD utilizes the
latest advanced technology to offer the first high definition video
encoder specifically designed for demanding news gathering applications. With a
large feature set in a small 1RU package, this encoder is the perfect choice for
mobile HD
ComtechTV’s PurePEG HD Technology features an innovative combination of video
pre-processing and advanced encoding algorithms allow the HE1000 to be
configured for ultra high-quality HD encoding and provides for improved picture
quality, especially at lower HD bit rates.
Audio processing can be handled in either MPEG or AC3 2.0 formats. Analog,
embedded and digital audio formats are supported.
The HE1000 can also be upgraded to also support SD video encoding.
The HE1000 is equipped with an embedded Web Browser Interface that allows for
easy command and control programming. It also offers the options of RS-232
proprietary command line M&C, or SNMP via ethernet. Full local front panel control
is always included as a standard feature.
